Anthony Richardson is one of the top draft prospects in this year’s NFL draft. This year’s draft boasts four to five quality quarterbacks who could all go very early in the first round. Amongst them, one is Anthony Richardson. The NFL Combine is an event that runs for a week and it consists of various mental and physical tests that college players undertake in front of coaches, general managers and scouts of the NFL.

In this year’s Combine, Richardson had an excellent showing in the physical tests. In the vertical jump event, he set a modern-day record with a 40.5-inch jump. It is the best result in this category at least since 2003. Another record that he tied with Arkansas’ Matt Jones was the broad jump where he recorded a 10-foot-9 jump.

The youngster from Florida is described aptly as a physically talented player who has big size, is fast and has a strong arm. Anthony has one of the strongest arms and can easily throw the football longer than many quarterbacks already in the league. In the athleticism section, Richardson ranked 1st in this year’s Combine.

How tall is Anthony Richardson

Anthony Richardson has a height of 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 mts). His height provides him with some advantages as it helps with the vision downfield. It is easier to spot the receivers and get the ball in tighter windows for him. A taller quarterback also possesses the ability to pick out nearby open receivers in case of a checkdown while being pressured by defenders.

Anthony Richardson’s Weight

His overall build and strength are a huge advantage whenever he takes the field in the league. He is a powerful runner who doesn’t go down easily. On top of that, it will be difficult to shake him from hits and sacks due to his superior force. If thrust into action early in his NFL career, it shouldn’t be a problem for him to deal with the higher physicality of the NFL. Due to this, Richardson is also willing to take hits in order to make a play happen.

Anthony Richardson’s Age

At present, Anthony Richards is only 20 years old as he was born on 22 May 2002. He is a redshirt sophomore but has decided to forgo his remaining years in college to enter the draft. He is projected to become a good starting quarterback within a couple of years into the league. Thus, any team who is looking for an able backup quarterback should be the ideal place for him. Given the right amount of guidance and exposure to the NFL’s system, a franchise could build their team around him in the next couple of years.

Anthony Richardson’s Wingspan

Currently, there is no information pertaining to Anthony Richardson’s wingspan. However, at 6 feet 4 inches tall, he should have a big enough wingspan to make athletic throws.
