The Packers are not resting their starters for the Week 18 clash against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur confirmed on Thursday that he will go ahead with his full-strength team to beat Chicago.
"I think we've got to be mindful of every situation," LaFleur said. "We always play to win the games. I don't see our approach changing.
"Here's what I'll tell ya: The right answer is whatever works. We were in a similar situation a few years back, where we played the guys a half and lost in the second half, and then we had the bye, and then we lost in the playoffs."
The Packers are aiming to build some momentum heading into the playoffs. Hence, quarterback Jordan Love, running back Josh Jacobs and other Green Bay stars will suit up for the regular-season finale.
As things stand, the Packers are the No. 7 seed in the NFC. However, they could climb up to No. 6 if they beat the Bears and if the Dallas Cowboys get a win against the Washington Commanders.
