As the Nebraska native spent most of his childhood growing up in Colorado, Austin Ekeler attended Eaton High School in Eaton, Colorado. He was a member of the school’s football team called the Fightin' Reds. Over his four years of high school football, he managed to record 5,232 rushing yards and 71 touchdowns but unfortunately, he was a zero-star recruit.
