Baker Mayfield had another terrific performance Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons, despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers blowing a 27-20 lead and falling 36-30 in overtime. Mayfield didn't throw for as many yards as Kirk Cousins but still posted decent numbers.
That said, Buccaneers fans worried after one Falcons defender sacked the former No. 1 overall pick. Mayfield was slow to get up and limped off the field afterward. This wasn't a good image for the veteran quarterback, but he made it to the sidelines and continued playing until the end of the game.
Baker Mayfield injury update
If you're a fantasy manager or Buccaneers fan worrying about Baker Mayfield's status after this game, fear no more as NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the former Cleveland Browns play-caller is 'good' and there are no real issues regarding his ankle.

Mayfield didn't put himself out there as much as Kirk Cousins, throwing 24 passes and completing 19 for 180 yards and three touchdowns. On the other hand, Cousins completed 42 of 58 passes for 509 yards and four touchdowns.
The Buccaneers entered this game with a 3-1 record after beating dangerous opponents like the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions. Despite Mayfield's heroics, they couldn't win and now the race for the NFC South division can get more interesting if the Saints beat the Chiefs on Monday.
Baker Mayfield helped Mike Evans achieve notable milestone
Two of Baker Mayfield's three touchdowns on Thursday helped one of his teammates set a record in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history. Mike Evans was two touchdown catches away from becoming the first player to record 100 of these in franchise history.
Midway through the first quarter, Evans found the end zone as the Falcons defense left him wide open in the middle of it.
His second score came after he lined up in the slot receiver position, separated from his defender and gave Mayfield the chance to find him to reach the end zone for the 100th time in his 11-year tenure with the Bucs.
The Buccaneers are a dangerous team and if Baker Mayfield stays healthy for the rest of the season, they could have a shot at coming out of the NFC in January. He has thrown for 1,164 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.
