The Baltimore Ravens traveled to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season. The game at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio, got underway at 1 p.m. ET.

Two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson started for the Ravens on Sunday, while Jameis Winston led the offense for the Browns in place of the injured Deshaun Watson. Cleveland won the toss and elected to kick.

Ravens vs. Browns game summary

Both teams struggled offensively, but Cleveland opened the scoring when Dustin Hopkins converted a 28-yard field goal with 37 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

The Ravens drew level in the second quarter when Justin Tucker converted a 49-yard field goal. The Browns restored their three-point lead when Hopkins converted a 33-yard field goal with 3:41 remaining in the half.

However, the Ravens took the lead at halftime after Jackson threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Nelson Agholor. Tucker converted the extra point, and Baltimore led 10-6 at the break.

Cleveland went ahead in the third quarter when Winston threw a 23-yard TD pass to David Njoku. Hopkins got the extra point. The Ravens regained the advantage when Jackson combined with Mark Andrews for a 7-yard touchdown.

However, the Browns got back in front after Winston threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman. Hopkins got the extra point and Cleveland led 20-17 after the third quarter.

The Browns extended their lead in the fourth quarter when Hopkins converted a 48-yard field goal. However, Baltimore pipped ahead by the narrowest of margins when Derrick Henry rushed for a 2-yard touchdown and Tucker converted the extra point.

Nonetheless, the Browns got back in front when Winston connected with Tillman on a 38-yard touchdown pass. Cleveland went for a 2-point conversion which was unsuccessful.

Eventually, it didn't matter as the Browns held on to win, 29-24.
