Braden Fiske is an American football defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams as of the 2024 NFL season. The Los Angeles Rams selected him with the 39th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Before the draft, Fiske had already seen his draft stock skyrocket post his stellar performance at the NFL Combine. Once a fourth-rounder on the consensus board, he was projected to go in the 2nd round post combine. The 24-year-old (as of September 2024) had an overall grade of 73.9 by PFF for the 2023 season. His lightning-quick feet and devastatingly quick hands had coaches and scouts impressed at the senior bowl.
He is very slippery and has great flexibility for an interior defensive lineman. Born on January 18, 2000, Braden was on the older side of the draft prospects which had hindered his draft stock in some people’s eyes. However, the projection about him going in the 2nd round came true when LA traded picks with the Carolina Panthers to move up to 39 from 52 to grab him.
