Ben Roethlisberger is one of the most celebrated players in the history of the NFL. The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback announced his retirement after he played the last game of his career against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round of the 2021-22 NFL Playoffs. As he bowed out with a 42-21 loss, Roethlisberger finished his career with a total of two Super Bowls. In 18 seasons with the Steelers, Roethlisberger appeared in three Super Bowl games. His first Super Bowl appearance and win came in 2006 (Super Bowl XL). Roethlisberger’s second Super Bowl win came in 2009 (Super Bowl XLIII). Roethlisberger won two Super Bowls in his 18-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He broke into the first team of the Steelers in his debut season (2004) and won his first Super Bowl (XL) in 2006. His second Super Bowl win came in 2009 (Super Bowl XLIII). The Steelers made it to the Super Bowl for the first time in 10 years when Roethlisberger was playing for them.

Roethlisberger won his second Super Bowl after three years by winning Super Bowl XLIII (2009). The Steelers won 23-14 against the Arizona Cardinals. Roethlisberger finished the game with one touchdown pass, one interception, and a total of 377 passing yards.

Ben Roethlisberger’s only Super Bowl loss came in Super Bowl XLV (2011). The Steelers lost against the Green Bay Packers in a game that ended 31-25.
