After their less than ideal start to the season, the Cincinnati Bengals will get the chance to return to winning ways on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Bengals' loss to the New England Patriots in Week 1 was one of the most shocking results in the league last week. Meanwhile, the Chiefs took care of business in their Week 1 game, squeaking out a win over the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
Both the Chiefs and the Bengals are dealing with injuries to key players ahead of their Sunday showdown. Below, we explore the injury concerns the two teams have going into their clash.

Cincinnati Bengals' injury report for Week 2
Defensive tackle Kris Jenkins is the only player the Bengals have ruled out for their road game against the Chiefs.
The second-round draft pick had surgery on his thumb but is not expected to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list. He hasn't yet made his NFL debut yet, but he will have to wait longer to do that, as he has already been ruled out for Week 2.
Moreover, three Bengals players are listed as doubtful to play on Sunday: OT Amarius Mims (pectoral), TE Tanner Hudson (knee) and WR Tee Higgins (hamstring).
Higgins didn't register any work at practice this week due to a hamstring ailment sustained last week. Although Hudson didn't practice on Wednesday, he returned to practice on Thursday, albeit in a limited capacity. The tight end didn't practice on Friday either, so it's unknown if he experienced any setbacks.
Tee Higgins' injury update
Tee Higgins suffered a hamstring injury shortly before the Bengals' opening game of the season last week. The wide receiver hasn't participated in practice this week, so it's likely that he will miss this week's game too.
HC Zac Taylor informed reporters on Friday that Higgins would be marked as doubtful on the final injury report. Adam Schefter of ESPN also said earlier this week that he doesn't expect Higgins to recover in time to play in Week 2.
Joe Burrow's injury update
Joe Burrow tore a ligament in his wrist in Week 11 of last season and missed the remainder of the 2023 campaign after undergoing surgery.
Burrow is now fully recovered but has now been listed for the second consecutive week on the Cincinnati Bengals' injury report. Nevertheless, Burrow participated fully in practice all week and is scheduled to begin on Sunday.
Kansas City Chiefs' injury report for Week 2
The Kansas City Chiefs acquired Hollywood Brown in the offseason, but it's now looking increasingly unlikely that the wide receiver will play for them this season.
The wideout is being placed on the injured reserve because of a shoulder injury. He's expected to undergo surgery on his SC joint injury and will now miss at least four weeks.
With the exception of Brown, every player listed on the Chiefs' Week 2 injury report participated fully in practice on Friday and are anticipated to be available for selection on Sunday.
Hollywood Brown's injury update
Marquise "Hollywood" Brown has been placed on injured reserve by the Chiefs, and it's expected that he will be out for some time.
Brown will undergo surgery for a dislocated SC joint in his shoulder. He has been unable to practice since sustaining the injury during Kansas City's Week 1 preseason game last month.
Brown has been placed on IR and will need to miss the next four weeks, but there are indications that he may miss more time than that.
