Johnson left the Bills' divisional round win over the Ravens due to what looked like a shoulder injury when he landed on his left arm in the fourth quarter. Johnson will likely be fit to play against the Chiefs; however, if he's unavailable, Buffalo will rely on Ja'Marcus Ingram and Brandon Codrington to step up.
Dion Dawkins' injury update
According to CBS Sports, Dion Dawkins missed Wednesday's practice session. The left tackle is dealing with an undisclosed illness.
Dawkins is a key part of the Bills offensive line and he is one of several Pro Bowlers on Sean McDermott's team. Buffalo will monitor Dawkins' availability in training to see whether he is fit enough to play against Kansas City. If Dawkins can't play, the Bills will turn to Ryan Van Demark or Tylan Grable.
Christian Benford's injury update
Christian Benford was a limited participant in Wednesday's training session, according to CBS Sports. The cornerback is dealing with a concussion.
Benford must pass the league's mandatory five-step protocol before he can return to action. Kaiir Elam will be waiting in the wings if he isn't cleared.
Matt Milano’s injury update
According to Pro Football Talk, Matt Milano participated only partially in Wednesday's training session. The linebacker is dealing with hamstring and biceps injuries.
Milano likely got hurt during the game against the Ravens. He'll be monitored in the next two training sessions. However, if he can't feature, expect Dorian Williams to get extra reps as an LB.
