Bo Nix is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos as of the 2024 NFL season. The Denver Broncos selected him as the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He represented both Auburn University and the University of Oregon at the collegiate level. Initially, he played three seasons for the Auburn Tigers and later joined the Oregon Ducks for his remaining two seasons. Speaking of his formative years, he enrolled at Pinson Valley High School located in Pinson, Alabama, where he began his football journey and participated in the school’s team. As a senior, his remarkable performance earned him Alabama's Mr. Football Award in 2018. He concluded his high school career with impressive statistics, tallying over 12,000 yards and 161 touchdowns. Through the first 11 games of the 2024 NFL season, Nix has passed for 2,275 yards and thrown for 14 touchdowns.

Nix joined Auburn University in 2019 and remained there until 2021. He then transferred to the University of Oregon in 2022, concluding his collegiate career after the 2023 season. Throughout his five-season collegiate career, he amassed over 15,300 passing yards and 108 passing touchdowns. Notably, he set a NCAA record for the most career starts for a quarterback with 61 starts. As for accomplishments, Bo Nix won the prestigious 2023 William V. Campbell Trophy, was named the 2023 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, and earned the title of 2019 SEC Freshman of the Year. Additionally, he was selected for the 2023 First-team All-Pac-12. Furthermore, he appeared in several Bowl games, and for his performance in the 2024 Fiesta Bowl against the Liberty Flames, he secured the Offensive MVP title with a score of 45-6.
