Bo Chapman Nix is a professional American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos in the NFL, as of 2024. Nix was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. The Broncos lost 26–20 versus the Seattle Seahawks despite Nix's 26–of–42 passing for 138 yards, two interceptions, and a rushing touchdown in his NFL debut game.
Nix initially played collegiate football at Auburn University. In his freshman season there, he was named the SEC Freshman of the Year. In 11 games during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, he completed his second year with 12 touchdown passes and seven interceptions. In 2021, Nix recorded three interceptions and 11 touchdowns prior to entering the transfer portal. Nix moved to the University of Oregon in 2022. Nix had 3,593 passing yards and 29 throwing touchdowns at the end of the 2022 season. Throughout the 2023 season, Nix passed for 4,508 yards, recorded 45 passing touchdowns, three interceptions, and six touchdowns and came in third place behind Michael Penix Jr. and Jayden Daniels in the Heisman Trophy voting. Nix played high school football at Pinson Valley High School.
