The Super Bowl XLVIII champion, Bobby Wagner, went to the Colony High School and was named for the all-CIF Central Division honors, among others. The then-two-star recruit enrolled at the Utah State University in 2008-2011 and was the three-time first-team All-WAC, along with WAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2011. Though he was invited for the 2012 NFL Combine but missed due to pneumonia, he was still selected at the NFL Draft's second round, #47 pick, on the basis of his Utah State's pro day drills, by the Seattle Seahawks.

Wagner played for a decade with the Seahawks, following he signed with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022, the Seahawks again in 2023, and finally the Washington Commanders since March 2024. He was named for the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2012, the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, six times First-Team All-Pro and four times Second-Team All-Pro between 2014 and 2023. Further, he was also a Pro Bowler nine times from 2014 to 2023, missing only in 2022. He also won the 2023 Art Rooney Award. His honors also include being a three-time NFL combined tackles leader in 2016, 2019 and 2023, along with being an NFL solo tackles co-leader in 2017.
