Braxton Jones is an American football offensive tackle for the Chicago Bears in the NFL. The Bears drafted him as the 168th pick in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He attended the Southern Utah University from 2017 to 2021 for his collegiate career. Redshirting his debut season, Jones participated in just one game. In 2018, he was a reserve in eight games. In 2019, he was chosen for the third team of the conference (All-Big Sky) and started ten games off the bench.

However, Jones' collegiate career was somewhat shortened due to injuries and COVID-19, but he was still named first-team All-Big Sky in 2020 and 2021. In the latter season, he started all six games at left tackle and all 11 games in the previous autumn. After the 2022 NFL Draft, he played 17 games with the Chicago Bears and was honored with the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2022. The next season, he was put on injured reserve due to a hamstring issue; regardless, by the end of the season, he had played in a total of 28 games, starting all.
