The Mount Rushmore of the finest quarterbacks to ever play the position features retired NFL star Brett Favre. He played for a long 20 years, winning several awards. Brett stayed with the Green Bay Packers for 16 years, led them to the chip in 1996 and was named the game's MVP. Brett won the MVP 3 times (1995, 1996, and 1997). Not to add the record he now holds for the most quarterback starts in a row (297).

Favre played for the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets after leaving the Packers. He first announced his retirement from the NFL, but he later decided to play for the Vikings. He officially retired in 2010.

Because of his eagerness to take chances and create significant plays, he was a gunslinger on the field. The most outstanding quality he possessed, though, was his stamina; he started 297 straight games, still a record.
