Brock Allen Bowers, commonly known as Brock Bowers, is a tight end for Las Vegas Raiders. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. After an impactful three-season career at the University of Georgia, he declared for the 2024 NFL draft. Bowers was one of one when it comes to his talent as he was widely regarded as a generational talent amongst tight ends. He was a lock to be a top 10 pick in the first round of the draft while many even had him being drafted as a top 5 pick. He fell slightly but was still selected 13th overall in the draft.

Bowers began his college football career in 2021 playing for the Georgia Bulldogs at the University of Georgia. As a true freshman, he amassed 882 receiving yards, 56 receptions, 13 receiving touchdowns, 56 rushing yards, and a single rushing touchdown. In the SEC Championship Game against Alabama, Bowers caught 10 passes (the most by a tight end in SEC Championship history); however they ended up losing the game. In his sophomore season, Bowers and the Bulldogs were so great that they finished the season undefeated and would go on to win their second straight championship in 2022.

For Bowers’ final season with the Bulldogs, he went on to put up numbers such as 714 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 56 receptions, and a single rushing touchdown while only playing in 10 games.

What added to Bowers’ argument for the greatest college football tight end of all time was that Bowers is the only player, ever, to win the John Mackey Award two times in college football history. He is also a three-time All-American (Unanimous All-American in 2023, First-team All-American in 2022, Second-team All-American in 2021), and was the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2021. Not to forget his team winning the National Championship in 2021 and 2022.
