The fantasy football playoffs are upon us, so if you're spoiled for choice, now is the right time to start maximizing the margins on your roster. With injuries piling up across the board and several offensive players falling victim to short-term and long-term injuries, you'll want to have some backups ready, just in case things go sideways.
The slate of games in Week 15 offers attractive matchups for QBs, starting with Brock Purdy's Thursday Night Football showdown against the Los Angels Rams.
Brock Purdy fantasy projection for Week 15
With Brandon Aiyuk injured, the focus will be on Deebo Samuel to step up. The maverick 49ers playmaker was quite vocal on X about not being targeted often, but he's no longer a sure-shot starting option.

Deebo Samuel has had fewer than 25 receiving yards in four straight games. His five rushing attempts in Week 14 didn't boost his scoring potential. Despite missing left tackle Trent Williams, Purdy has kept the offense afloat, with help from the emergence of Jauan Jennings.
This Rams defense isn't as imposing either so expect Purdy to have more than a decent night at Levi's Stadium.
Tua Tagovailoa fantasy projection for Week 15
When it comes to pocket passers, there are few QBs you'd take over a fully fit and in-rhythm Tua Tagovailoa.
The Dolphins QB has been slinging it at high volume since returning from injury. He threw for 365 yards, two TDs and zero INTs vs the Packers in Week 13 and threw for 300+ yards and four TDs the week prior against the Patriots.
Against the Jets, Tagovailoa completed 33 of 47 pass attempts for 331 yards and also threw for two touchdowns in a 32-26 overtime win. All those signs bode well for Week 15 when Miami will go up against the Houston Texans. One person to keep an eye on is Jonnu Smith, who has emerged as a reliable option when the Dolphins need to pick up the pace.
Our Start/Sit Optimization tool ranks Tagovailoa on top for this Week 15 matchup. The Dolphins' QB is projected to rack up 19.4 points against Houston, with a high chance of scoring a couple of touchdowns.
