Bucs' Leonard Fournette or Chiefs' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Who should I start in Week 15?

The Week 15 starting lineup for fantasy managers may still be unclear between Leonard Fournette and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Based on our analysis of the two players' fantasy prospects this week, we believe JuJu Smith-Schuster might be somewhat superior.

In fantasy football, form and fixtures are everything. Your regular team selection shouldn't be based on the sequence in which you drafted your players, even though you may have had specific goals and plans when you drew your squad. Make sure you have the proper individuals in and the wrong ones.

Why is JuJu Smith-Schuster a better pick than Leonard Fournette in Week 15?

Last week, JuJu Smith-Schuster was finally readjusted to being an outside receiver and had his best performance since the 9th round of games. He outran the Denver Broncos 34-28 by catching nine of his targets for 74 yards and a score, his second-highest targets and catch tallies of the season, while the touchdown was his first since Week 7.

He played impressively, receiving more passes than anyone else in his side and scoring an impactful touchdown in an important game and was one of Patrick Mahomes' primary targets.

If the player maintains his performance from last week, he could still pay off significantly. He will once again be a high-upside choice this week when he faces a Houston Texans team that has been more susceptible to the run than the pass in 2022.

Fournette didn't have many opportunities to run in his most recent game. He performed decently overall, but apart from his catches, he had a poor game, failing to find the end zone. In this backfield, Rachaad White has surpassed him, and his fantasy potential appears to be declining week by week.

In a game where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the San Francisco 49ers' 35-7, Leonard Fournette gained 13 yards on four carries and 33 yards on six of seven targets.

Rachaad White out-carried him 13 to 4. In terms of targets, he was also fourth among his teammates. Both players continue to share the backfield. This weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals, the seasoned player is primarily a flex option.

Against a Bengals team that has just limited Nick Chubb to 34 running yards on 14 rushes, Fournette is expected to keep sharing workloads with White, which doesn't bode well for his fantasy outlook.
