Terrel Bernard's injury update

According to CBS Sports, Terrel Bernard will not play in his team's Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks. The linebacker is dealing with a pectoral and an ankle injury.

According to the report, Bernard missed two matchups early in the season due to a pectoral issue. However, the Buffalo Bills' website states that he missed practice this week because of an ankle injury. The combination of these injuries means that he'll play no part in today's game against the Seahawks.

Thus, Bernard's next opportunity to play would be in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. In the interim, it's expected that Baylon Spector will take his place in the lineup against the Seahawks.

DeWayne Carter's injury update

According to CBS Sports, DeWayne Carter will not feature in today's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Carter has been added to the injured reserve and is set to undergo surgery for a wrist injury.

Pe reports, Carter likely sustained the injury in the Bills' win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. He attempted to practice with it before the Seahawks game, but the team ultimately decided to schedule surgery.

It seems the rookie defensive tackle will miss the Bills' next three games. His earliest return game will be against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13.

Curtis Samuel's injury update

According to CBS Sports, Curtis Samuel will miss today's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The wide receiver is dealing with a pectoral injury.

Samuel did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to the injury and thus won't be risked against the Seahawks. His next chance to take the field will be against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9.

In the meantime, Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir will lead the team's receiver charge versus the Seahawks.
