Cameron Skattebo is an American college football running back for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Before transferring to Arizona State, he played for the Sacramento State Hornets. Skattebo was among 329 draft prospects invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He received a 6.16 prospect grade, indicating him to be a good backup with the potential to develop into a starter. In his freshman season in 2021, Skattebo tallied 520 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 57 carries, securing third-team All-Big Sky recognition.

In 2022, he accumulated 1,382 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, adding a passing touchdown and an onside kick return for a score to his versatile performance. His standout season earned him first-team All-Big Sky honors, Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year, and second-team All-America recognition from Stats Perform and the AFCA. He played 25 games for the Sun Devils. In a standout performance against USC, he completed two of three passing attempts for 42 yards, rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, and added 79 receiving yards and another score. He capped off the 2024 season with 1,711 rushing yards, 21 rushing touchdowns, 605 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. He is the first ASU player to surpass 2,000 yards from scrimmage in a season and finished 5th in the Heisman Trophy voting.
