The Green Bay Packers cut their five-game losing streak in Week 10, which completely altered the mood around the franchise. The 2022 NFL playoff picture is beginning to take shape with only eight weeks left in the regular season and Green Bay still have life in them yet. There are still a lot of games to be played, and history has shown us that anything can happen within a very brief period of time.
The Packers are currently on borrowed time, but they still have a chance to advance to the postseason this year. Green Bay will need to play nearly flawlessly, barring a catastrophic collapse by the Minnesota Vikings.
Their campaign was resurrected by their victory in overtime over the Dallas Cowboys last week. Aaron Rodgers' team are currently 4-6, far behind the division-leading Vikings, who stand at 8-1. To make matters worse, Green Bay have the second-toughest run-in of fixtures in the league.

Green Bay are in for a protracted offseason unless they can drastically improve their results. Despite their excellent performances on Sunday, the Packers are still not yet a playoff-caliber side.
Additionally, their record places them far behind the Minnesota Vikings in the race for the NFC North lead. The Packers will therefore need an almost undefeated run if they want to make it to the playoffs as a Wild Card side. They will finish 11-6 if they manage to win the remaining games, which would almost certainly get them into the postseason.
Did the Green Bay Packers qualify for the playoffs in the 2021 NFL season?
Green Bay earned the top seed in the NFC last season for the second campaign in a row and for the third time with Aaron Rodgers under center. With a 13-4 record at the end of the 2021 season, the Packers were the top seed in the NFC. They also made history by becoming the first league club to win 13 or more games in consecutive regular seasons.
As the first seed in the NFC, Green Bay received a bye in the first round of the 2021 playoffs. Unfortunately, they underperformed in the Divisional round and lost 13-10 to the San Francisco 49ers on a snowy Lambeau Field.
When was the last time Aaron Rodgers failed to qualify for the playoffs?
Aaron Rodgers has taken the franchise to the playoffs 11 times in his 14 years as their starting quarterback. The three instances where they failed to qualify with him were his rookie 2008 campaign, the 2017 season (when he suffered an injury) and most recently in the 2018 campaign.
In his career, Aaron Rodgers has recorded 12-10 results in the postseason. In his 21 playoff games overall, Rodgers failed to throw a touchdown just twice. He also won his solitary Super Bowl appearance, a victory that came over the Pittsburgh Steelers in February 2011.
