Chop Robinson is an American professional football linebacker for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. Robinson was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 21st overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. He played his college football for Penn State Nittany Lions and played as the defensive end. Prior to Penn State, Robinson started his college football career with the Maryland Terrapins and only spent a single season with them (2021). After the conclusion of the 2021 season, Robinson transferred to Penn State and played for two seasons before declaring for the 2024 NFL draft. Born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States, Robinson attended Quince Orchard High School. He is a former four-star recruit who also participated in the 2020 Under Armour All-American game.
Robinson was named to the First-team All Big-Ten in 2023 and had also earned preseason second-team All-American honors. He was also named to several watchlists such as the Bednarik Award, Lombardi Award, and Bronko Nagurski Trophy. However, the list does not end there.
