Chris Godwin is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Rod Christopher Godwin Jr. was born and raised in Middletown, Delaware. He attended the local high school and contributed to the two State Championships. Godwin also made the All-State team in every season of his High School. He got heavily recruited for his college career being named in the top 30 players nationally at wide receiver. He went on to commit to the Nittany Lions and appeared in all 13 games in his freshman season. He led the Lions during his sophomore campaign.
