Chris Godwin is a professional American footballer who plays in the national football league as a wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Godwin's professional career in the NFL began in the year 2017 where he was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the NFL draft of 2017.

In the loss against the New Orleans Saints it was revealed that Godwin has torn his MCL and the following injury ended his 2021 season. Godwin signed a new deal for three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of worth $60 million.
