Paul Jr. played three seasons at Arkansas, appearing in 28 games with 11 starts. He recorded 137 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup. In 2024, he played 12 games at Ole Miss, starting 11 at linebacker. He attended Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia, where he played linebacker and running back under coach Brad Barber.
