Christian Jackson McCaffrey is a professional American football running back for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. The Carolina Panthers drafted McCaffrey with the eigth pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. McCaffrey established himself in the league when he posted over 2,000 yards of scrimmage, earning Pro Bowl and First-team All-Pro honors in the 2019 NFL season. He also recorded 1,387 rushings yards and 1,005 receiving yards for a combined 19 touchdowns. After spending a few seasons with the Panthers, McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2022. After 28 appearances for the 49ers, McCaffrey has recorded 2244 rushing yards, 1096 receiving yards and a combined 31 touchdowns, earning Offensive Player, First-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2023.

Growing up in Colorado, McCaffrey attended Valor Christian High School. He was a versatile player who could play positions like running back, wide receiver and cornerback. McCaffrey earned Gatorade Player of the Year consecutively during his time in high school. McCaffrey committed to Stanford University in 2014. He set a school record for NCAA single-season all-purpose yards (3,864 yards) in 2015. McCaffrey completed his collegiate career with 6,200 yards and 38 touchdowns over three seasons.

Christian McCaffrey has had a few notable relationships over time. He dated a track athlete for a short time in high school during his days at Colorado. After moving to Stanford, McCaffrey dated Brooke Pettet who was a personal trainer during the time. However, the couple split after nearly dating for three years. McCaffrey’s most high-profile relationship would be with model Olvia Culpo. The couple has been going strong since 2019 and tied the knot after five years of dating in June 2024.

Marybeth Sant-Price (2015)

According to Hollywood Life, Christian McCaffrey and Marybeth Sant reportedly dated each other during their time at Valor Christian High School in Colorado in 2015. The couple connected because of their mutual love for sports, as Beth also ran track in high school. However, the couple’s romance was short-lived as they moved on to college. McCaffrey and Beth split, ending their romance in May 2015. Marybeth went on to become a professional track and field athlete, earning a bronze medal at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championship in Belgrade. She went on to marry professional decathlete Hunter Price in 2019.

Brooke Pettet (2015-2017)

After moving to Stanford, McCaffrey started dating Brooke Pettet in 2016. According to her LinkedIn profile, Brooke was studying at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University from 2013-2017, graduating with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She had media internships with Fox Sports and Chicago White Sox and worked with Kroenke Sports for two and a half years. She has also been a Yoga Instructor at Powerhouse Yoga since August 2016. However, before McCaffrey's NFL Draft and Pettet's graduation, the couple called it quits in 2017.

Olivia Culpo (2019-Present)

Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo started dating each other in 2019. Olivia Frances Culpo is a high-profile model, winning Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012. They were introduced to each other by mutual friends and became exclusive in November 2019. After three years of going out together, McCaffrey proposed to Culpo during a getaway in Utah in April 2023. Months after getting engaged, the couple tied the knot in June 2024 in Rhode Island, USA.
