Christian Watson has given the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers a reason to smile in the 2022 NFL season. The second-round draft pick has shown a lot of promise in his first season in the NFL, so much so that he's getting some shout-outs for offensive rookie of the year.
Watson's emergence has been a welcome surprise for Packers fans, who had assumed that Alan Lazard would be their main target this season. However, Christian Watson has stepped up in the last two months and really put up some numbers.
If you don't have a top-tier wide receiver in your fantasy team, you should start Watson in your week 16 lineup. Due to the Packers' continued playoff chase, he will be a huge part of their offense. As such, having a healthy Christian Watson on your fantasy team could be a masterstroke.

Christian Watson's Week 16 predictions
Christian Watson is in his first season in the NFL. Watson has held his own and leads the Packers in touchdowns, despite being one of the least targeted players on their offense.
Watson did not score a touchdown in the Packers' 24-12 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15. He had his chances but didn't continue his impressive streak of four consecutive games with a touchdown score.
It's important to note that he has caught at least four passes in four of his last five games and is now a significant part of Green Bay's passing game. The Miami Dolphins' defense will need to keep an eye on the 6' 5" wideout if they wish to come out on top against Green Bay.
With Miami looking a bit leaky on defense this season and the Packers entering desperation mode, expect big things from Watson. Hopefully, we will see him in the endzone and record at least five catches for over 50 yards. In PPR leagues, he is predicted to score 12.88 points, which seems a little on the low side. There is a very good chance that Watson will record a bigger total against Miami.
How is Christian Watson performing this season?
To say that Watson is performing above expectations would be a great understatement. The Green Bay rookie is showcasing his elite receiving ability, proving he is a strong option for Aaron Rodgers. Watson has made the post-Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling era a tad more bearable.
This season, the Green Bay rookie has recorded 29 receptions for 447 yards and seven receiving touchdowns. He has also rushed for two touchdowns to top it off.
