Chuba Hubbard's Carolina Panthers haven't had a season to remember, but the running back definitely has. With roughly a month left in the season, Hubbard has set a career-high in rushing yards and touchdowns. However, fantasy football managers don't get points for what their players have done in the past. As such, here is a look at how Hubbard could perform this week.

The Carolina Panthers, like other losing teams, are a difficult beast to grapple with at this time of year. Even the best running backs can be effectively ruled out due to the scripting of the game.

If the game remains competitive or the Panthers maintain a lead, Hubbard will get additional opportunities. However, if the Panthers get blown out, Hubbard's opportunities shrink significantly, as teams that trail tend to throw more. As a running back, Hubbard needs a competitive game for all four quarters for maximum opportunities.

However, the Panthers have an enticing final three games following Dallas. In all three matchups, the Panthers should remain competitive or better. The Panthers face the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons.
