After the Cowboys forced the Bengals to punt on the opening drive, Cooper Rush punished them with a throw to CeeDee Lamb:

But Joe Burrow managed to answer around six minutes later with a six to Ja'Marr Chase:

Both teams then exchanged losses of possession to begin the second quarter - an intercepted pass for the Cowboys, then a turnover on downs for the Bengals. Finally, Brandon Aubrey ended the drought with his first field goal of the night.
But that lead did not last long, as Burrow found Chase Brown for another touchdown:

The defense then forced a punt on the Cowboys' next drive, punished it with Cade York's first field goal, and forced another punt to end the first half.
To begin the third quarter, Rush found Brandin Cooks for the game-tying touchdown. Malik Hooker then intercepted Burrow, which then turned into another field goal that the Bengals answered with another of their own.
Both teams then exchanged punts on the next four drives. Chase eventually ended that drought by connecting from Burrow in for six. The game was sealed when the Cowboys committed a turnover on downs.
