The Steelers come into this game with an 8-3 record and sit at the top of the division. However, they lost to the Cleveland Browns last week and need a win today to resist the Baltimore Ravens' challenge for the division title.
The Bengals, meanwhile, are 4-7 on the season but are not yet mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. They are currently on a two-game losing streak but had a bye last week, which will work in their favor against Pittsburgh.
The game is turning out to be a high-scoring encounter. At halftime, the Steelers led by 27-21. The Bengals' defense once again had a disappointing performance, costing their team, as Pittsburgh won 44-38 and improved to 9-3 on the season.

Pittsburgh scored their season-high total of points in a divisional matchup against the Bengals and have basically ended the playoff aspirations of their rivals.
Cincinnati is now 4-8 on the season, and although the Joe Burrow-led offense played quite well, they were once again let down by their defense. The Bengals are expected to make a lot of moves this offseason, as they could potentially lose key players like Tee Higgins and Trey Hendrickson.

This was the last chance for their current core group of players to make a run for the Super Bowl, but unfortunately, the 2024 NFL season has been a complete disaster.
As forthe Steelers, they are a legitimate Super Bowl contender this year, and if Wilson continues to play like he did today, Pittsburgh can defeat anyone come playoffs.
