Cleveland Browns injury report
Jerry Jeudy's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Jerry Jeudy is all set to play against the Miami Dolphins. The wide receiver enters the game without an injury designation, though.
Jeudy started the week on the injury report due to knee and shin injuries. He proceeded to participate in every training session, albeit as a limited participant. He has been cleared to feature against the Dolphins and potentially derail their playoff chase.
David Njoku's injury update
According to ESPN, David Njoku won't play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. The veteran tight end is dealing with a knee injury and hasn't been able to recover sufficiently enough to play his team's penultimate game of the regular season.
According to the report, Njoku suffered the injury in his team's Week 16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He will now be forced to watch from the sidelines as his teammates face off against a Dolphins team desperate for a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Jameis Winston's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Jameis Winston is questionable to play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 17. The veteran quarterback has had a shoulder injury for the last few weeks of the regular season.
Winston participated only in three training sessions before the Dolphins game. He will likely start at QB2 behind incumbent Cleveland Browns starter Dorian Thompson-Robinson. However, if he's unable to suit up, expect Bailey Zappe to step into the role.
Cedric Tillman's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Cedric Tillman will miss his team's game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 17. Tillman is dealing with a concussion and won't be risked against the Dolphins on Saturday.
Tillman suffered the head injury in a Week 12 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He hasn't seen the Gridiron since, despite logging in a couple of training sessions. It's likely that he's yet to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol.
Due to his absence, expect Michael Woods to start in his place as his team's wide receiver room. That iwll mean Elijah Moore occupies the slot receiver role for another matchday as they catch passes from Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
