Cobee Bryant is an American football player who plays the cornerback position. He is one of the top players at his position in collegiate football at the moment.

Listed at a height of 6 feet and a weight of 170 lbs., Bryant has a slender yet athletic frame. However, he packs a powerful punch as he has demonstrated multiple hits with force leading to a couple of forced fumbles. He has good speed to keep up with the receivers, and excellent hand-eye coordination leading to nine interceptions and 24 pass deflections over his three years of college football.

In spite of being eligible to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, Bryant decided to come back to collegiate football in 2024 to complete his senior year as he plans to earn a degree in computer design.

Cobee Bryant is currently attending the University of Kansas where he plays as a cornerback for the Kansas Jayhawks football team. His true freshman season came in 2021 in which he played 11 out of a possible 12 games. He finished the year with 21 tackles, 3 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions.

In 2022, his sophomore season, Bryant earned the starting spot on the Jayhawks’ football team at the cornerback position. In 12 games, he improved his tackles to 38 on the season of which 32 were solo tackles. Overall he had a much better year as he was involved in 12 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 1 touchdown which he got by recovering a blocked kick.

Bryant’s statistical numbers in his junior year of college in 2023 were similar to those of his previous year. However, from 13 games he had 32 tackles and one sack. He improved the most in tackles for loss of yards with 5 that year. Adding to his defensive stats are 9 more pass deflections, another forced fumble, and 4 interceptions.

Cobee Bryant High School

Bryant, who hails from Alabama went to Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Conecuh County, Alabama. He was a multi-sport athlete in high school playing and lettering in basketball, baseball, and track & field while also being a member of the school’s football team.

Rivals scouting website rated Bryant as a three-star recruit in football during his high school days. One of his best moments came in 2018 when he scored 4 touchdowns all in different ways. He scored one touchdown via a reception, another one off a fumble recovery, a third one from a kickoff return, and a fourth one via an interception return.

Despite choosing to play for the Kansas Jayhawks, he also had several other offers from Universities such as Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and more.
