Cole Beasley grabbed headlines on Tuesday when he unretired and rejoined the Buffalo Bills for the remainder of the 2022-23 NFL season. The receiver will once again link up with quarterback Josh Allen to potentially help the Bills run deep into the playoffs.
Fantasy football managers have also been intrigued by Beasley's addition to the Bills roster. Given that the NFL veteran has been away from the league for a few months, we suggest that you keep him on your fantasy bench and avoid starting him in Week 15.
Beasley has played in just two NFL games this season, and they both came with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On October 5, he decided to call it quits with the sport. Beasley's retirement, however, lasted just over two months as he re-signed with the Bills earlier this week.

Although Beasley is being signed to Buffalo's practice squad, reports suggest that he will soon be elevated to the gameday roster on short notice. Hence, there is a good chance the he could take the field for the Bills in their Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins. However, you should not consider starting Cole Beasley in your fantasy team this week under almost any circumstances.
Cole Beasley's stats and fantasy outlook
In his two games with the Buccaneers this season, Cole Beasley put up a mere 17 yards on four receptions. He managed an underwhelming 1.7 fantasy points, averaging less than one point per game.
However, Beasley has previously shown that he can be a reliable slot receiver. The Texas-native played for the Dallas Cowboys for six seasons before spending three years with the Bills.
In his last stint with the Bills, Beasley tallied 231 receptions for 2,438 yards and 11 touchdowns. He will be eager to form a strong partnership with Josh Allen over the next few weeks and possibly earn himself a Super Bowl ring in the process. However, in fantasy football, until Beasley proves it on the field, he shouldn't get near your fantasy team.
