Cole Kmet injury: Will TE play in Week 5?

As of now, Cole Kmet is expected to play in Week 5 against the Panthers. The Bears' tight end has the second most receptions on his team and is a big part of their offense.
Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has looked better every week, so fans will expect him to have a dominant game on Sunday against the Panthers.
The Bears drafted Kmet with the 43rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and since entering the league, he hasn't missed a game due to injury. Last season, he had a career high in receptions and receiving yards, finishing with 73 catches for 719 yards and six touchdowns.
Even though the Bears have D.J. Moore, Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet will continue to have a big role in their offense and help out the rookie quarterback.
The Bears offense hasn't had a great start to the season but have shown signs of improvement. Chicago is averaging 19.3 points and 284.0 yards of total offense this year.
The Panthers have the fifth-worst defense in the league, allowing an average of 358 yards of total offense to opponents. This is a very good opportunity for Bears players to have a big game and show the league that they can live up to their pre-season hype of being a playoff team.
