Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent as he recovers from the injury he suffered during the last Super Bowl. His performances in that game before his injury made him the standout player before Cooper Kupp took over following his exit from the game. As the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl, Odell got the ring he so desperately craved.
He has not re-signed with the Rams or signed with any other team. Needless to say, a fit Odell Beckham Jr. would be a great addition to any team. Fans of different teams have been trying to woo him to their neck of the woods as rumors fly thick and fast. But if the heart is where home is, he should definitely be willing to give the New York Giants a try.
He dropped surreptitious hints on Twitter when chatting with Giants running back and former teammate Saquon Barkley. After Saquon responded to one of Odell Beckham Jr's tweets, Odell called him a teammate. To which Saquon replied:
"Ain't nothing better than a family reunion."

It sent social media into a meltdown with Giants fans exhorting Saquon Barkley to use their bonhomie to bring Odell Beckham Jr. to the Giants. Here is just a sample of the reactions on Twitter.
There seems to be quite a clamor to bring Odell Beckham Jr. 'home'. If indeed the fans are all up for it, why did he leave in the first place?
The reason Odell Beckham Jr. left New York Giants
Drafted in the first round by the New York Giants in 2014, Odell Beckham Jr. went on to become a star receiver for them. He made it to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons with them.
However, trouble started brewing in paradise as he went on in an interview and said that Giants quarterback Eli Manning was not the same player that he once was. He has since clarified that he meant that as Eli was getting older, the Giants were not drafting pieces around him to help the quarterback.
However, it started going downhill from there. He was fined for that interview and was traded to the Cleveland Browns five months later.
From a front office perspective, they thought that Odell would try to force his way out of the organization if they kept losing. Despite his heroics, the Giants went 31-49 during his time there. With trust collapsing, the team took the decision to trade.
However, the fans never forgot him and neither did he. Having gone all the way to Los Angeles and secured a ring, he has got that monkey off his back in terms of personal achievement. Having gone on the record about wanting to win the Super Bowl with the New York Giants, the time might finally be right again.
