Cooper Douglas Kupp is a professional American Footballer who plays in the National Football League (NFL) as a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams. On June 3, 2017 Coopers signed a four-year contract worth $3.83 million with the Rams.
Kupp made his NFL debut against Indianapolis Colts where he recorded four receptions for 76 yards in a 46–9 victory. He continued his excellent performance throughout the season and caught four passes for 51 yards and a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in a 33–0 victory.
Kupp ended his rookie season in 2017 with 62 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games. He was named a starting wide receiver in the season of 2018 where he caught nine passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns, which included a career-best 70-yard scoring reception. Kupp suffered an injury in the game against the Seattle Seahawks and after some necessary tests and an MRI, it was revealed that he had torn his ACL.
He recovered from the ACL injury in 2019 and played in the season opener against Carolina Panthers. In a game against Cincinnati Bengals, Kupp had an NFL record-setting performance when he caught seven receptions for 220 yards and a touchdown making it the most receiving yards in an NFL game. He finished his 2019 season with 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games. On June 9, 2022, Cooper signed a three-year extension with the Rams worth $80 million.

In his freshman year, Kupp won the 2013 FCS Wide Receiver Award. He continued his performance in the 2014 season where he finished the season with 104 catches for 1,431 yards and 16 touchdowns in 13 games.
In 2015, he was named on the All-Big Sky Conference first team. In the 2016 season, Kupp finished with 117 receptions for 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns. By the end of his college career, he passed Terrell Hudgins' record, finishing with 428 receptions and 6,464 yards.
