The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are left without a starting quarterback following Tom Brady's retirement. Only one on their entire team is under contract for the upcoming campaign, and that quarterback is Kyle Trask.

As a result, the team is looking for a new quarterback. While there will be several quarterbacks on the market during free agency, it will be interesting to see if the Buccaneers go that route.

Although Jimmy Garoppolo and Derek Carr may be available for the Buccaneers to pursue, the team might draft a young quarterback to secure their long-term future.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently have the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but they could pair that pick with other assets to move up and draft a quarterback of their choice.

While Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud are expected to go first and second in this upcoming draft, quarterbacks like Will Levis and Anthony Richardson could be available for the Buccaneers.

Levis and Richardson both have very significant upside potential as well as boom or bust possibilities. They've been compared to Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson respectively, and the Buccaneers should dig into them.

If the Buccaneers want to be extra-aggressive, then they should go all in and send assets to the Chicago Bears in exchange for the first overall pick to draft Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud. The Bears are open to trading their first overall pick as they don't want to draft a quarterback.

The NFC South is up for grabs and if the Buccaneers are able to bring in a decent young quarterback via the draft, the franchise could be set for years even without Tom Brady.

Even if the Buccaneers are able to bring in a quality quarterback for next season, there is no denying that they will struggle to replace Tom Brady. The former Patriots quarterback won them a Super Bowl and made their franchise one of the most talked about teams on television.

Without Brady, the Bucs could go back to being irrelevant pretty quickly and everyone knows it. The front-office will need to make some smart decisions this offseason if they still want to be competitive at a high level.

They still have a number of talented players on this team who can lead them to the playoffs, but they need a reliable quarterback. It will be interesting to observe what happens in the coming months.
