Craig Reynolds is an American football player currently representing the Detroit Lions of the National Football League in the running back position. Before becoming part of the Lions squad, he played for the Washington Redskins and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Additionally, he had a stint on the practice squad of the Atlanta Falcons.

Hailing from Pennsylvania, he attended Abington Senior High School during his formative years. After completing high school, he chose to play college football for the Kutztown Golden Bears at Kutztown University. Concluding his collegiate career at Kutztown, he entered the 2019 NFL Draft.

During the draft, Reynolds went undrafted and later, the Washington Redskins signed him as an undrafted free agent. Struggling to secure a position on the Redskins’ active roster, he finally made his NFL debut against the San Francisco 49ers by participating in special teams. After moving between numerous teams, it appears Reynolds has found a home with the Lions. He is currently in his third season with the Lions. In 2023, he signed a one-year contract extension with the Lions valued at $1,080,000, constituting his annual average salary.

Reynolds attended Kutztown University, where he majored in Business Administration and played college football for the Kutztown Golden Bears from 2014 to 2018. He concluded his college career as the third-highest rusher in school history, amassing 2,650 yards, and ranked second in all-purpose yards with 5,277, again setting a record for the school.

In the 2014 season, there was no playing time for Reynolds as he was redshirted during the season.

In 2015, during his redshirt freshman season, he started in five out of all 11 played games and concluded the season with 182 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with securing 59 receptions for 494 yards and a touchdown.

In the 2016 season, as a redshirt-sophomore, he started in 10 of all 11 played games and concluded the season with record-breaking statistics, accumulating 1,189 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.

During his junior season, Reynolds was limited to eight games due to a season-ending injury. Before the injury, he recorded 109 rushes for 456 yards and four touchdowns, 29 receptions for 410 yards and five touchdowns. Additionally, he secured four kickoff returns for 108 yards and nine punt returns for 153 yards, recording one touchdown.

Reynolds concluded his senior season at Kutztown, gaining 823 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns on 172 carries. Additionally, he recorded 40 receptions for 472 yards and three touchdowns.

Reynolds boasts a decorated collegiate career with several accolades and records. Some of his noteworthy achievements include:

· Reynolds won the title of 2018 Team MVP.

· For three seasons, he secured a spot on the All-PSAC East First Team in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

· He also holds school records for 34 career rushing touchdowns, 261 rushing yards in a game and 345 All-purpose yards in a game.

· He received the 2018 Don Hansen Gazette Honorable Mention All-America.

· He was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week six times.
