Cris Collinsworth is one of the most notable faces of Saturday Night Football. He has been a sportscaster for over four decades and currently works with NBC. He has previously worked with the NFL network too. Before becoming one of the most well known sports commentators in the NFL, Cris Collinsworth played as a wide receiver in the league too. Cris Collinsworth was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1981 NFL Draft, as pick number 37 in Round 2. He completed his NFL career as a Bengals player and played with them for 8 seasons.

Cris Collinsworth has been with NBC since 1990. He was initially part of the NFL Broadcast for college games and joined the NBC Pregame show for NFL in 1996. In between he had joined the NFL on Fox when NBC had lost their broadcasting rights to CBS.

Currently, his contract with NBC is earning him around $12.5 million annually. Cris Collinsworth negotiated the contract with NBC after deep discussions. The contract ties him to NBC till 2025.

He was previously earning around $4 million per season and wanted a raise in his annual earnings. He was also slated to leave NBC for Amazon before contract negotiations were finally tied down.

Cris Collinsworth Contract with the Cincinnati Bengals

Cris Collinsworth played as a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1981 till 1988. In his 8 year NFL career Cris Collinsworth made a total of around $2.5- $3 million. In his initial four seasons with the Bengal he received an average annual salary of $85,873 as per the New York Times.
