DeKaylin Zecharius "DK" Metcalf is a professional American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. The Seahawks drafted Metcalf with the 64th pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In his debut season, Metcalf recorded a total of 900 yards, 58 catches, and scored seven touchdowns. During the 2020 NFL season, Metcalf broke the previous record of all-time Seahawks Franchise history with 1,303 yards. In 2022, Metcalf signed a three-year extension with the Seattle Seahawks. The following year, Metcalf earned a Pro Bowl selection.
Metcalf played collegiate football at the University of Mississippi from 2016-2018. Metcalf only appeared in two Ole Miss games as a freshman in 2016, before suffering a foot injury that ended his season. He caught 26 passes for 569 yards in 2018, hauled in 39 grabs for 646 yards, and scored seven touchdowns in 2017. In order to enter the 2019 NFL draft, Metcalf forfeited his final two years of collegiate football. Metcalf played football for Oxford High School before attending college.
