All fairy tales must come to an end, and that seems to be the case for Tom Brady and his unbeaten run against the Dallas Cowboys. He is arguably the greatest player to have ever played in the NFL.
He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. He has played in 372 games, 47 of which were playoff games, over 23 seasons, the most for any player in the NFL.
Brady has a plethora of individual and team NFL records that would require a separate article to outline them all.

Among his most impressive records include the most Super Bowl wins (7), most Super Bowl appearances (10), most Super Bowl MVP awards (5), and being the only starting quarterback to win the Super Bowl for both the NFC and AFC.
Among his records, one that also stood out was the record he had against America's team, the Dallas Cowboys. In his 23 seasons in the NFL, he has met with the Cowboys seven times and won all of those contests.
He met the Cowboys in the Wild Card round of the 2022 NFL playoffs, which was the eighth time in his career, and was the underdog coming off an 8-9 season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers qualified for the playoffs by winning their division, while the Cowboys had a 12-5 winning season.
Even though the Cowboys were the favorites to win, many believed that Brady would come out victorious, referencing his unbeaten record against the team.
Also, Dak Prescott was coming off a seven-game interception streak, during which he held the unfavorable statistic of throwing an interception for every 25 throws he made.
Additionally, many analysts pointed out that the Buccaneers have a strong defensive squad and have been known to disrupt their opposing team's quarterback's performance.
It turned out Vegas was right in naming the Cowboys clear-cut favorites as they came out and dominated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Micah Parsons put up an impressive defensive performance, but the MVP of the game was Dak Prescott.
Prescott put up a historic performance by throwing the ball for 305 yards and had five touchdowns, four of which were passing touchdowns, and one was a rushing touchdown.
Another impressive stat for Prescott was that he threw the ball 33 times, completed 25 of those, and had zero interceptions for the first time in eight games. Prescott and the Cowboys ended Brady's dominance and did it on the big stage as they sent Brady and the Bucs home.
The question on most people's lips is whether this is the last we will see of Brady or not. But what is certain is that he is clearly at the tail end of his career, and Dallas made sure that he doesn't retire with the record of never losing to the Cowboys.
