Rayne Dakota Prescott, also known as Dak Prescott, is the current quarterback for the Dallas franchise in the NFL. In his entire NFL career, he had performed phenomenally. He has played eight seasons for the Cowboys. During this, he amassed a total of 29,459 passing yards. He also maintained an average of 7.6 yards per attempt, threw 202 touchdown passes, and had 74 interceptions during his career.
Prescott pursued his high school education at Haughton High School in Haughton, where he actively contributed to the Buccaneers' football team. He distinctly showcased his abilities by rushing for 951 yards on 90 attempts, scoring 17 touchdowns. The quarterback led Haughton to secure the 2010 District 1-AAAA Championship. Dak Prescott Playoffs Win-Loss Record
Dak Prescott’s playoff record stands at 2-5 as of December 2024. Prescott’s first playoff game came against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional round of the 2016 season where he finished with 302 passing yards and 3 touchdowns to just 1 interception. However, the Cowboys ended up on the losing side.
Prescott got his first postseason win in 2018 when the Dallas Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks 24-22 in the NFC Wild Card Round. Prescott had 226 passing yards. However, Dak and the Cowboys lost against their Divisional Round opponent the Los Angeles Rams, 22-30 in which Prescott had 266 passing yards and two touchdowns.
It took 3 more years for Prescott to reach the playoffs in 2021. However, it was a short-lived moment for both Dak and the Cowboys as the San Francisco 49ers went on to win the game 23-17. Dak had two touchdowns and an interception on the day.
However, the 2022 playoffs were a different story for the 6-foot-2 signal caller as he threw for 4 touchdowns (his best in the postseason) and rushed for another one to lift Dallas past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 31-14 win. However, in a Divisional Round, the Cowboys once again couldn’t get past their historic rivals in the San Francisco 49ers and went on to lose the game 12-19.
His latest playoff duel came against the Green Bay Packers in the 2023 NFC Wild Card Round, where Dak threw for 403 yards and 3 touchdowns but also threw two interceptions. Dallas got steamrolled by the Packers in that game.
