Cowboys vs Falcons summary
With this loss, the Cowboys are now 3-5 on the season. Dak Prescott also suffered a hamstring injury and did not play in the fourth quarter of the game.
The Cowboys' chances of making the playoffs are all but done, and it wouldn't surprise many if the team trades away some players at the trade deadline.
As for the Falcons, they are now 6-3 on the season and have a firm grip over the NFC South. Kirk Cousins will potentially lead the Falcons to a division title in his first season with the team, and Atlanta will be a tough team to beat come playoffs.
Dallas has many problems, and they are unlikely to be fixed this season. Jerry Jones needs to look in the mirror and completely revamp this roster, even if he has to make some tough personnel decisions. The Cowboys could also be on the lookout for a new head coach, as Mike McCarthy's time in Dallas is all but over.
