The New York Giants only scored seven points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12, their first game after quarterback Daniel Jones was released.
The G-Men have a chance to make a comeback in a week when they face the Dallas Cowboys, their NFC East rivals, on Thanksgiving Day.
The Cowboys' season hasn't gone as their fans had hoped, as evident in their 4-7 record heading into their Week 13 game with the Giants. But in their last game, they upset the Washington Commanders 34–26 and will look to maintain that upward trend on Thanksgiving Day.

New York Giants injury report for Thanksgiving Day game
Following a day of practice as a limited participant, Tommy DeVito, who started at quarterback for the New York Giants in Week 12, was classified as DNP during Wednesday's walkthrough. He's designated as questionable to play on Thanksgiving Day due to an injury to his right throwing forearm.
Apart from DeVito, cornerback Deonte Banks has a rib ailment that makes him questionable to play in Week 13.
In other injury news, after failing to participate in Tuesday's walkthrough, the Giants have ruled out defensive lineman Armon Watts (shoulder), outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari (toe) and left tackle Jermaine Eluemunor (quad) for the game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Tommy DeVito injury update
Numerous reports suggest that quarterback Tommy DeVito's right forearm injury will likely keep him from playing in the New York Giants' Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys, even though he's listed as questionable.
DeVito didn't travel with his teammates to Dallas on Tuesday, as confirmed by the Giants. He was reportedly left behind for additional assessment and is expected to travel alone. He has been described as a "longshot" to play by ESPN's Jordan Raanan, even though coach Brian Daboll hasn't ruled him out of the game.
If DeVito is eventually unable to play the game, backup Drew Lock is anticipated to be the next man in line on the New York Giants' depth chart.
Dallas Cowboys injury report for Thanksgiving Day game
The Dallas Cowboys have been beset by injuries to important players this season, and the trend continues against the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day.
Standout tight end Jake Ferguson, who hasn't yet passed the NFL's concussion protocol, and guard Zack Martin (ankle/shoulder) have been ruled out. Defensive end Marshawn Kneeland (knee), another key player, is doubtful, while cornerback Trevon Diggs, who's designated questionable, will be a game-time decision.
Nick Vigil (foot) and Eric Kendricks (groin/shoulder) are questionable for the Thursday afternoon game.
Additionally, the Cowboys have placed offensive lineman Asim Richards (ankle) and rookie cornerback Caelen Carson (shoulder) on injured reserve, which means they will be sidelined for at least the next four weeks.
CeeDee Lamb injury update
Due to foot and back problems, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was listed on the Dallas Cowboys' injury report once more this week.
He was deemed an early injury doubt for Week 13 due to his limited participation in the team's Monday and Tuesday practices. Lamb, though, was removed off the injury report after he participated fully in practice on Wednesday.
Although Lamb has been on Dallas' injury lists multiple times this season, he has participated in all 11 games thus far. The 25-year-old wide receiver is third in the league with 841 receiving yards, behind only Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson, and leads all receivers in the league with 77 receptions going into Week 13.
Cooper Rush injury update
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush only participated in limited practice on Monday and Tuesday due to a dinged-up knee. On Tuesday, though, he informed NFL Network that he's healthy enough to play in the Thanksgiving Day game.
The Cowboys removed Rush off the injury list on Wednesday after he recorded his first full practice participation of the week. He's now set to start against the New York Giants on Thursday afternoon.
