The Dallas Cowboys are out of the running for the 2024 postseason, so they have little to gain in the last two weeks of the season.
Having said that, it would be a great way for the Cowboys to cap off a poor season if they can beat their divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, when they square off in Week 17.
The Cowboys have recorded a disappointing 7-8 record this season, but they have also been dealt a bad hand with several injuries. They have already ruled out some of their best players for the rest of the season, including defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, quarterback Dak Prescott, offensive lineman Zack Martin and cornerback Trevon Diggs.
Ahead of the game against the Eagles, here's a closer look at what the Cowboys' injury report this week looks like.

Cowboys injury report for Week 17
The Cowboys have ruled out three players, including wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, for their Week 17 matchup with the Eagles. Seven other players are deemed questionable.
Cornerback Amani Oruwariye (foot) and defensive back Kemon Hall (hamstring) were also ruled out on Friday, and guard TJ Bass (thigh) was classified as doubtful on the final injury report.
Officially classified as questionable are offensive lineman Asim Richardson (ankle), guard Chuma Edoga (toe), safety Donovan Wilson (knee), wide receivers Jalen Brooks (knee) and Jalen Tolbert (finger), and linebackers Eric Kendricks (calf) and Nick Vigil (foot).
CeeDee Lamb injury update
Dallas believes it is best to keep star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb out of action for the remainder of the season because he has been battling with a shoulder problem for most of it.
There is no need for the Cowboys to continue playing Lamb since they are mathematically out of the running for the postseason, and doing so could potentially put him at risk for more injuries.
Lamb was ruled out on Friday for the Week 17 game against Philadelphia and is expected to sit out the last game of the regular season as well.
Lamb has 1,194 receiving yards, which currently puts him third in the league. In addition, he has 101 receptions and six touchdowns.
Jalen Brooks injury update
Wideout Jalen Brooks is dealing with a knee injury that didn't allow him to log any full practice participation this week.
Following a DNP designation on Wednesday, the second-year receiver recorded successive limited practices on Thursday and Friday.
Jonathan Mingo may be the next player called upon to assume a more prominent role in the Cowboys' offense against the Eagles on Sunday, as wideout Jalen Tolbert is also battling a finger ailment and CeeDee Lamb has already been ruled out for the final two games of the season.
