Dalton Kincaid is a tight end for the Buffalo Bills; he was drafted as the 25th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Prior to his NFL career, he attended college in San Diego and then Utah. Kincaid attended the University of San Diego from 2018–2019. He recorded 374 yards and 11 touchdowns on 24 catches in his freshman year. He had 44 receptions for 835 yards along with eight touchdowns the following year, leading all FCS tight ends in yards per catch. His performances earned him recognition as an AP FCS All-American and a spot in the Second-team All-Pioneer Football League.

Kincaid transferred to the University of Utah in 2020 and graduated in 2022, participating in the 2023 NFL Draft. After being signed by the Buffalo Bills, he played in 16 games, starting 11 of them. He had 73 receptions for 673 yards at an average of 9.2 yards per catch and the longest reception of 51 yards. He also scored two touchdowns during the season but also had one fumble, resulting in one fumble loss. His 73 receptions in a single season is a Buffalo Bills franchise record for most receptions in a single season and most receptions in a rookie season.

During his time with the University of Utah, Kincaid's first season was shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, limiting Kincaid to five games in 2020. He accumulated eight touchdowns, 510 receiving yards and 36 receptions in 2021. He had a tremendous year in 2022 as a fifth-year senior. He participated in 12 games, caught 70 passes for 890 yards at an average of 12.7 yards per reception, scored eight touchdowns, and had a QB rating of 115.4 when targeted. He offered no pressure and turned over no sacks while in pass protection. However, he sustained a back injury in Utah's last regular-season game, which he managed to overcome to win the Pac-12 Championship Game. But the injury kept him out of the Rose Bowl.
