As a rookie, Kincaid immediately received heavy playing time, starting 11 of 16 games played and catching 73 passes for 673 yards and two touchdowns. That put him at No. 126 ECR and No. 85 heading into the new league year.
That has since increased to No. 78 and No. 49, respectively, as a massive roster overhaul saw Diggs and Davis join the AFC South (Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, respectively).
Is Dalton Kincaid a good fantasy football pick this season?
Positionally, he is one of the top tight ends in the league with a best-projected fantasy rank of No. 2, poised to break out with numbers worthy of an All-Pro and Pro Bowl. That makes him a viable fantasy pick, one who could provide better value than even the likes of Travis Kelce and George Kittle under the right circumstances.

According to Sportskeeda's Fantasy TE rankings, Kincaid notably sits higher than either Kelce or Kittle. But a quick check at the fantasy tool shows that the former is far above him in terms of stats – and it also shows the latter being way behind:
A much fairer comparison would be among Kincaid and the two names sitting between him: Brock Bowers and Mark Andrews. Even then, the tool favors the Baltimore Ravens veteran over his two younger peers:

Nevertheless, the mere notion of Kincaid being able to compete with such highly-touted elite players for fantasy points is a testament to his ever-growing pprofile and presence. While the top five may be a stretch, a top 10 or 15 pick is not out of the realm of possibility, given his current roster situation.
