Schultz’s career in the NFL began with the Dallas Cowboys after the team drafted him in the fourth round with overall pick number 137 in the 2018 NFL Draft. Schultz spent the first five years of his NFL career playing for the Cowboys. Initially given the role of a third-string tight end in 2018, he was promoted to the backup and saw some action after the starter went out injured.
