He was named as one of the top 250 prospects coming out of high school by news outlet Rivals. The sixth year senior’s draft stock plummeted after he suffered a season-ending pectoral injury on September 16, 2023. Green could have opted for an injury hardship waiver and return for seventh season but he chose not to. Despite suffering injuries in two consecutive seasons, he is still projected to go as high as the fifth round in the NFL Draft.
Daniel Green College
Green enrolled into Kansas State University in 2018. He attended KSU playing for the Wildcats. He was a four-star recruit out of Portland, Oregon in the class of 2017. He couldn’t enroll in the University in 2017 due to academic insufficiencies despite signing with the Wildcats back in Feb. 2017.
After getting redshirted in his first year, he made the team in 2019 and never looked back. He went on to become one of the most decorated Wildcats players in the school’s history, winning the Big 12 championship in 2022.
He played in 52 games for the Wildcats and finished with 31 Tackles for Loss and was selected in First Team Academic All Big 12.Below are the college career stats of Daniel Green:

Madison High School
Green went to Madison High School and played under Don Johnson Jr. He earned second team All-State honors from The Oregonian while he was a two-time first team All-Conference honoree.
