After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. Before joining the Cowboys' practice squad in 2024, he played for the Chiefs from 2019 to 2022 and the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squads in 2023 before returning to the Chiefs later that year. As a college athlete, Harris played football at Middle Tennessee State University from 2015 to 2018.
