Darren Waller is a professional American footballer who plays in the national football league as a tight end for the New York Giants. Waller's professional career started in the year 2014 when he was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL draft of 2015.

Darren Waller signed a deal for four years with the Baltimore Ravens of worth $2.39 million. In 2015 waller was unfortunately placed in the injured reserved list which ended the following season for him. In 2017 Waller was suspended for the whole year due to violating the NFL substance abuse policy. In 2018 he signed a new deal with Oakland Raiders in the following season waller played in four games and in those following games he recorded six receptions for 75 yards.

In the 2019 season with the Raiders Waller in a game against Minnesota Vikings recorded the first 100 yard game of his NFL career. In the following year he signed a new contract extension deal with the Raiders for three years. Waller finished the following season with 90 receptions for 1,145 yards and three touchdowns. He was also ranked by his team members at 99th in the Top Player of NFL 2020.

Waller continued his excellent performance for the Raiders in the upcoming season where in the 202o season due to his brilliant performance he was named to his first Pro Bowl. In the 2021 season in the opening game against the Baltimore Ravens waller recorded 105 receiving yards and a touchdown. He finished the following season where in 11 games waller recorded 55 receptions for 665 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. In the 2022 season he signed a new deal with the Raiders for three years of worth $51 million. In 2023 Waller was traded to the New York Giants.

But Waller decided to overcome his addiction and decided to go to a rehabilitation program. Now Waller not has overcome his addiction but has also started a foundation for the young generation to help them avoid and overcome drug addiction.
